Expanded Form Game 00039

This game will help your students work on expanded form, and build number sense.

If you are from an EU country, please buy from TpT.

To play, children draw three numbers with a hat on it. This is the answer to their equation.
They must then draw cards and fill in the blanks to create an expression that will make this number. This requires planning as all spaces must be filled in. You would want to put a 30 in the expression with three blanks when the solution will be 32. A better choice would be a 20 + 10 + 2 = 32
The first game focuses on expanded form in the 10's
The second option is expanded form in the 100's.
The third option is expanded form in the 1,000's.
