Activity 1: How Many Parts Will Make a Heart?

Love is in the air right? So, as for the first problem, why do we not make a full heart from a broken one?

From the following image, you can notice that the first heart is not complete and only 1/8 of it is full. To make this heart a complete one and give it to your loved ones, make it complete by finding out the rest of the parts and adding them.

Activity 2: Which Heart Is Bigger?

Now, let’s go to a simple comparison activity. Here, you will find two hearts with different fractions.

The first one is 7/8 of a heart, and the second one is 5/6 of another heart. Now, seeing this image, decide which one is bigger.

Activity 3: How Many Hearts Are Colored?

Looking at the following image, you can see that there are a total of 16 small hearts in two rows. Of these hearts, a total of 10 are pink and others are white.

Activity 4: Candies! How Many Will You Give Me?

Here, in the jar, there are a total of 40 candies. From these, you will give 5/8 of the candies as a present.
