To identify odd and even numbers easily, we have to know the properties of odd and even numbers. The properties of even numbers are:

- Even numbers end with the digits 2, 4, 6, 8, or 0.
- If we divide an even number by 2, then there will be no remainder.
- Even numbers are the opposite of odd numbers.
- The even numbers can be arranged in pairs.
- Even numbers are multiples of 2.

- If we divide an odd number by 2, then it will leave a remainder as 1.
