By playing a sound game, CVCe words can be learned.
First write terms like “cake,” “tape,” “flute,” and other words on a piece of paper and listen to the pronunciation and repeat it. Make three boxes and write “tape” on the opposite side of the paper. Again repeat the word “tape,” and then write “tape” on three boxes and “e” out of boxes. Since “e” is silent in this case, write it out of the box.
